A USDA program that provides up to 2 free meals during the summer to youth ages 3-18. Currently 1 out of 5 low-income youth participate in the program during the summer. To increase the number of youth served by this program End Child Hunger SC has established county-wide workgroups in: Kershaw, Lexington, Newberry, and Richland counties to increase the number of sites, solve transportation barriers, change the program to an enrichment experience, and improve the outreach of the program.
